Professor Jung has
received the Scientists  of the Month
Award from the Ministry of Education, Science,

and Technology for his recent
achievements in the development of observation method

for visualized graphene
domains.

While relatively high
quality of graphene has been achieved, its various properties are still below
those of

graphene from natural graphite due to the grain boundaries. Professor
Jung has developed a new method

to visualize the graphene domains by simply
coating the nematic liquid crystals on
the graphene.
